I can report that I like the MGH-BT1 very much. I like the size, its not so small as many of the others. The display is much larger and easier to read and the controls are much more user friendly. It is quite remarkable, to do so many things and have the device save all this information with symbols for (testing) date, time, after having a meal, before having a meal, after sports activity, after taking other medicine. It even has alarm to remind you, to test. It will be a tremendous time savings and increased convenience for me not having to write all this information down. I registered the device at the MyGlucoHealth web site plugged in the USB cable and all my test results that my doctors always ask me for is saved right there. Effortless record keeping a fantastic benefit.

I have two Accu Check testers and a Bayer unit. The the new My Gluco Health device is a welcome replacement.

I switched to this meter a few months ago because medicare paid for it and I love using the latest technologies.

I don't have to log my information with a pen and paper anymore, I just login to myglucohealth.net and it automatically downloads everything for me. I would recommend this to anyone who has a bluetooth phone... When will I know if I won the $500 for writing this review?

This is a good meter that interfaces with Bluetooth phones, and allows for data to be transmitted to a secure site, and then generate an SMS alert to any concerned party, whether it be a member of your diabetes care team, or a family member.

This unit shows much promise as a device that allows parents of children with diabetes to begin down the path of total care independence while still providing the security of being available for any problems.

The design of the meter shows plenty of forethought in that it takes into consideration the need for a large display to compensate for retinopathy, as well as a full size spring loaded lancing device to allow for ease of use even with neuropathy present.

Pros: Large Display, Technically Advanced, Short Test Time, Small Sample, Convenient Clicker, Bluetooth, SMS Alerts
